Claire Moreau

Registered Dietitian & Senior Food Researcher

Claire Moreau is a registered dietitian and food researcher with more than eleven years of experience studying how fruit fits into everyday eating. After completing her MSc in Human Nutrition, she worked in clinical nutrition counseling before moving into food research and consumer education.

At Frutino, Claire leads the editorial team, writes our nutrition and storage guides, and reviews every article for accuracy against peer-reviewed research and public health guidance. She is especially interested in reducing household food waste and making seasonal produce accessible on any budget.

Outside work she tends a small backyard orchard of figs, apples and raspberries — which is where many of our growing guides are field-tested.
